Changing by Jayden Bartels

Changing by Jayden Bartels: I was 8 years old I had a dream of who I could be When I got old But things have worked out differently And now I don't know Who I am and what I'm supposed to do I'm a little confused So maybe I'm changing and that's okay If it's good or bad, well, either way I know I can't pretend to stay the same I've done that for too long and I'm the only one to blame, so Let's move on, let's grow old Let's see what this world has to hold Maybe I'm not the same But some things have to change Don't be mad, please But this has been something kept Inside of me And now it's time for it to be Set free It's all gonna be okay Don't you worry, you'll see So maybe I'm changing and that's okay If it's good or bad, well, either way I know I can't pretend to stay the same I've done that for too long and I'm the only one to blame, so Let's move on, let's grow old Let's see wh...

TEAM - TIKTBT

TEAM- Tension - In the play, the tension between the characters is represented through movement, touch, light, and voice tone. The tension is very intense and anxious. The secrets of each character are eating each person alive but they pretend that they are fine. The tension is even sometimes pointed out by their mother because she feels the tension and behavior and connects the dots and exposes the reality. E - The emotion in the play is shown by the mood of the characters but also sad but real. The world that the play is in is closer to most of the audience’s reality. The hardships of life can be hidden forever and you have to face every possibility. Pushing away from the reality of your feelings and thoughts just makes things worse due to time. A - Atmosphere actually changes. In the beginning, I feel relieved and able to relax once Rosey gets home because she fell into her safety net and how I can relate to having a supportive family who will always be there for me. When the ...

Notes from Comprehensive Guide

There have two directors for Thing I Know To Be True The co-directors challenged each other and learned from each other Co-directors work together to build to the show The transition from who leads the movement happens smoothly The movement was not directed by the writer The theme of the play was universal The music created some context Sometimes silenced even worked better than music During the process, the thought of generational tensions and different dreams brought on new ideas The passion of the play must expand overtime during the play Current events in the writer's life inspired ideas for the play When actors were being lifted they had to push their weight onto the people who were lifting them the physical movement expresses the character's emotion or feeling toward other characters Having the set be commonplace causes the audience to feel natural and feel comfortable in the plot Even a simple stillness with silence can express a feeling Even actors added previous emotio...
